press-n-peel taped to regular paper, pattern printed onto it

my ziplock etching method
etching...

starting to show...

almost there...
just about...

done!
rinsed and dried

believe it or not, that area of raw copper you see is actually still covered with press-n-peel just like the rest of the board! somehow, I guess my camera got exactly the right angle on it and managed to see through the press-n-peel film... very strange.

and finally, with the resist removed. (lacquer thinner took it right off)
as you can see, the scuff marks from polishing are still visible in the copper, showing that it was very well preserved by the resist.
the few specks you see in the copper (on the pour on the left, and on one of the IC pads toward the center) are actually caused by scratches during ironing. I apparently got some dirt on there or something and it scratched the film... the scratch marks were visible on the film after transfer, so it's not the fault of the press-n-peel that those slight spots are there.
